Mount Batur Sunrise Jeep Adventure

I'm not much of a hiker, so riding in the vintage 4x4 jeep straight up the mountain trail was the best decision ever. Got hot coffee and boiled eggs while watching the sky turn neon orange and purple above the clouds. Unbelievable experience!

Our jeep driver Komang literally climbed on top of the jeep to get the most incredible action shots of us against the sunrise. He knew exactly what lighting worked best. We have photos for a lifetime!

Driving across the jagged black volcanic basalt from the 1963 eruption was epic. The contrast of the black rocks against the green hills is striking. Dress in warm layers because it gets genuinely chilly before sunrise!

The transfer car arrived at our Ubud villa right on the dot. Transferred to the 4WD base camp smoothly. The whole operation runs like clockwork. 10/10 must-do activity in Bali.

Sitting on the hood of the jeep wrapped in blankets sipping hot tea as the dawn broke over Mount Rinjani in the far distance was surreal. Don't hesitate, just book it.
